Did some v70 r phase ones come with out the blue clocks

Hey every one did some of the v70r's come with out the blue clocks as im looking at one at the mo but it has got the standard grey ones which seems odd.

Every V70R i have seen has had blue clocks, never seen one with standard grey ones

Blue clocks were introduced on the S/V70 R models from the outset. Volvo continued along the blue clock theme for the later R's and even the latest R-Designs continue along with the blue clock theme ;)

lol liam no its no my setting the bloke has just confirmed it has grey clocks aswell but hasnt said why.

As said, ALL V70R P1s come with dark matt Blue dials from the factory. The later S60R/V70R 2003> has the metallic blue dials and LEDs.

I would say, if it has grey clocks/dials then its either been fitted with the standard dials cos the original ones gave up the ghost OR the car your looking at ISN'T a true V70R.

I once went out to a bloke that started telling me all about his laser V70 R after it wouldn't start and i went out to fix it. After i got it going i noticed the bloke was full of crap. I never let on that i had owned a classic Laser V70R and could spot a fake a mile off. It was actually a T5 but had been painted a very crude 'laser' colour, had an R interior. His dials were grey too! Honestly, the lengths people will go to :frown:
