Anyone heard of RavenscroftVolvo?

Looking around trying a 2000/2001 V70 T5 and came across these guys. Anyone used them or have opinions?

I bought my V70 P2 from them, and as far as buying the car i was very happy! It was as they sold it, and probably £1-2k below book price.

I've had a bit of fun trying to get them to pay some bits on warranty, but generally i'm glad i bought it.

I'd recommend that you ask about the extended warranty package as mine's already had new shocks and drop links etc (the car's only 70k old).

I forgot to add: How trusting are they with the test drives????

Let me take it out alone, and had taken no details of me whatsoever. He said the last thing you want when testdriving is a salesman rabbiting on about stuff you already know when you're trying to evaluate the car. It's a good point, but still very trusting. Maybe I'm just growing up and no longer look like a thug :haha:

Well I'm only 24, and, i turned up with a mate and asked for a test drive. He gave me a tenner, pointed me in the direction of the petrol station and gave me the keys! Fair play to them for that but surely someone's gonna abuse it one day!

Have you bought the 99 reg with only 36000 on the clock???

I didn't know they did a 99 reg on the new shape. Mines a 2000 and that was one of the earlier ones.

Nah, mine's an X reg 2000 with 73,000. But yeah, the new shape started in 1999.
