Hi guys,
Usually post in the P2 section as I drive a 2004 S60R.
However, one of my customers at work has a year 2000 V40, engine size 1.8 litre with the automatic gearbox.
She says it has the switchable 'winter' and 'summer' modes to help with better traction in the snow of winter etc. Usually when she selects this mode the yellow arrow comes up on the display.
Lately, she has been experiencing a problem whereby the yellow arrow flashes at random intervals for no reason. She says it happens when she goes on a long straight drive, maybe 40mph and above, and does not normally occur when slow driving round town etc.
Her Volvo manual just says if lights flashing, not to drive the car and take it to a Volvo dealers. She seems to think it drives fine though, apart from the flashing light.
Any clues?
