Hi guys who is it that makes the braided brake lines?

Also is it worth fitting drilled and grooved discs? and decent pads

i saw some discs on ebay 96-00 v70 302mm, is that the ones?

search for member 'swampy' on here. He makes them for a good price and they are very good quality. (got a set on mine. My car has 305mm front discs).

I've never been a fan of drilled/grooved discs as they can be noisy for general driving. Unless you are needing some serious repetetive braking, I would stick with good quality standard discs such as Brembos with decent pads. Save yourself a few quid too!

305mm brembo discs with 305mm carriers and genuine volvo s80 pads. the s80 pads needed a little of the metal backing ground down to fit the calipers but they have appx 25-30% more surface.

standard calipers new hangers i.e from the 302mm upgrade from later v70 and s80 discs and pads and braided brake hoses

is that correct?

standard calipers. late v70 carriers (must be from a car with 305's) and 305mm v70 discs with s80 305 pads. And swampys braided lines.

Thanks niles big help, was thinking Porsche calumets on the 855r may think differently. What sort of year v70?

I have drilled and groved can`t say they fantastic,for ganeral use good normal discs and something like ferrodo pads will be good.

I had drilled grooved discs all round. waste of money. dont buy them . go for Brembo discs. worth every penny.

V70 yr 2000 on I think.
