hi all, im sure this is a quick one youve all come across. New 850r clutch is great!! any how testing as you would on way home, put foot down boost comes on drops off a little then comes on strong again and stays strong.
boost to the right amount i.e half way through the white
doesn't do it with the mbc on
anyone come across this?

Its the valve you take out if you fit an mbc. If its ok with the mbc it could point to a faulty valve, if you can try a known good one first and go from there

i just put the mbc on what i guess was a vac line to the turbo

When it comes to mbcs, dont guess as to where they go! Its the quickest way to destroy your engine mate, be careful and take it steady lol

side pipe of mbc into actuator
bottom pipe goes into the bottom of the turbo

im probably gonna just get the 310 ecu when one becomes available and not put the mbc back on. Someone should do a fitment guide, would be helpful.

Yeah think there cheapish, got an me7 one on mine, i "think" there nearly all the same, 850 ones are exspensive if i rember right but sorry dont know prices

Its also called the BCS on the 850
Also, try not to use silicon pipes to connect it, petrol pipe is better, as its braided internally.

actually i think this might be some kind of bleed valve. Ill look for a new mbc

Sounds like a dodgy BCS mate. Myne did the same so fitted MBC and all was good. My actuator's playing up now though.
