My P1 centre console.....

I have covered a spare set of the walnut consoles (the cd player bit and the gear selector bit) in the cf vinyl and now want to swap them over with the ones in the car itself.

How the ££££ do I get them off! Looking at the pieces I have on my desk, the screws are pretty tight to get at so wondering how to start! Do I remove the dash top and work down?

Found a 'how to' for the lower trim around the gear selector; I guess it will be a suck it and see job for the stereo surround!

Its a real pain in the ass job you have to remove the screws from behind the dash im sure theres a how to somewhere on here good luck!

If you lived nearer i would have given you a hand as i have done a few of these now and have a few specially adapted tools to make the job easier

does removing the dash top help?

At least having a spare one on my desk helps me understand where the screws actually are....I think I need to get me some torx screwdrivers as I only have alan type keys.
