Hiya guys, quick question, will the manual gearbox off the 2.4t fit onto the 2.5 10v?? i want it manual as im getting bored of auto, if it wont i aint overly bothered lol thanks in advance :)

Possibly, is like a me7 with no throttle cable? I think theres awhole lot more to it if thats the case

lol iv not had a proper look yet, just the bell housing to the block im more interested in lol

Providing both have either internal or external slave cylinders then yes, they both use M56 gearbox's albeit slightly different revisions. The 2.5 10v should be an m56l and the 2.4t an m56h.

think ill wait until i get the t5 ready for it, and go manual then lol

Wouldn't it be easier to buy a cheap t5 manual and sell the 10 v

if the 2.5 is still standard then the gearbox might be too high a geared for it at the minute
