That seems too chaep, where's that from? They are usually in the region of £250-280 with release bearing and Pressure plate. Here are the part number Rufe gave me, Rufe is the man for Volvo part numbers and ordering the correct bits:

Clutch disc - 9176268 - Replaced by 272218 - Which is the clutch I supply for the B5234T4 (R models with M59 gearbox)
Release bearing - 9181780. - suitable for the same as 272218

Mitch.

sachs part from a factor and thats 3 piece, just been quote from euro car parts £220 plus vat, which is about right. But a pukka factor has quoted £120 inc vat. The 850r clutch should fit in a t5?

850R clutch is direct swap onto the T5. If I were you, I'd message Rufe and speak to him. He has supplied half the forum with 850R clutches so knows what he's on about. I trawled google first and found everyone had a different opinion on what the correct part number was.

ive got a 1000 mile 850r clutch to go in my t5 854, from my spare 850r engine and box, still has receipt, so i know it goes in and local garage are charging next to nothing to fit it. But i rang for a new release bearing which they cant supply but told of that clutch price at the same time.

so i guess it will be fitted with old bearing, but it was fine.

Thanks dalhousie.

Which branch of gsf carparts did you talk to? I tried the ones over here in north & south Dublin but the only clutch parts they had on the website was a slave cylinder :frown:

Could do with getting a new clutch before mine packs in and that price is real cheap.
