Thought I should share a few pics a took toady of my new bottom end, for those of you who are interested it's a 2.5 bottom end from a S60 and the shinny thing inside the block is a forged piston (super spesh strong).

So which model is the bottom end from? Where did you manage to find some forged pistons for it?

Got the Rods and pistons from the US of A, block is from a 2001 2.5 LPT, will put some more pics up in the week of my cooler and some other bits N bob's!!

Why go for the LPT block out of curiosity?

Was cheaper for me to get forged stuff for a 2.5 rather than a 2.3, and since I had to change the block why not. Got a set of 2.5 pistons and rods for sale if anyone interested?? lol

Question, can you stroke the 2.3 to a 2.5 or is it the bores that are different?

The bore size is different. Will be in the T5 Dave.
