Depens on the driver, but I guess the the T5 for a sprint. Mind gear testing 40-70 or something like that I would go for the D5.

If it's the D5 then I'm doing something seriously wrong going the petrol route! lol

From a standing start the T5 easily, even from a roll on say 30-100mph still the T5 as the D5 would still need an extra gearchange, o.k so its got the same torque but less bhp which still counts for something!

Having driven both i would say easily a T5 cos i think the rica'd D5's have to much lag between gear changes

Well, which do you think would win if it was a race across 1000 miles?

Im betting it may well be quite close, considering the amount of stops you'll need to do in the T5.. :slap:

2 stops in the T5, 1 in the D5. Minus five minutes.
Getting up to speed faster in the T5. Plus half a minute.
Bowling along a few miles an hour faster in the T5. Plus five minutes.
That petrol-engined snarl... priceless.

T5 gets pulled over by a D5 police car for being a cheeky git..Minus 10 minutes :cop:
