OK, so Castrol GTX can be had for £10 for four litres at Asda...
Is it OK to use in my S80 T6 ?
I plan to do my own changes now the car is showing 165k, but at 6k intervals.
Feel free to rain down your collective knowledge...
Wait ! Thats not rain.....!

So, is it suitable considering my cars mileage and future planned frequency of changes...?

In an S80 T6 you should be using FULLY SYNTHETIC 5w/30.
I used to use 10w/40 semi in my old 850 T5!!
