alarm

hello once again. can anybody tell me the wherabouts of the alarm on my 850 r. i have flashing lights if it's set off but no noise ! could it be disconnected ? thanks once again,Richard.

its normally the horn that goes on the alarm, a black metal disc mounted about the middle at the back of the engine bay

Yeah, I think that if it's disconnected the alarm does not arm. At the back of my mind there's something funny to do with it being deliberately disconnected anyway. I can't be bothered to try that out on mine as I've just got off a plane from the US and I'm knackered.
