Hi i know this has been spoke about many times before but can i use the porsche 944 callipers on the adaptors and do they have to be turbo brakes as well .

Don't think you can use 944 calipers at all mate, pretty sure its the 996 ones you need.

Can't remember! In the end I went to AP Racing and got a kit off them!

But, then had to buy different wheels to go over them!

Just got some 18s for 150quid off ebay so i dont think im gonna have a problem with brakes

Ap are on the expensive side for me Paul lol.Ive seen the porsche adaptors hanging about some where but can never seem to find them when i want to look at them lol.I do like the look of the porsche callipers though

its 993 calipers and there is a guy who makes them in the US. Thats the most common one i have seen.

IIRC its the 964GTS front calipers required or 993 calipers. There are many variants so you need to get the correct items which are sold as big reds or big blacks. They are used with the s60r disc and adaptors to suit. There has been problems with castings varying slightly on the porsche brembo calipers so the brackets sometimes can need to be either made to the caliper or the pair you buy altered to suit if the castings are slightly different.

i do believe 996 calipers also fit, but will not fit under standard wheels, pretty sure neither will the 993 calipers

Think they fit under genuine pegs, and a couple of other volvo rims
