auto to manual

I know it can be done,changing the box?

But just how much grief is it to do??
I keep finding nice examples of 850's, but they are all auto's! :slap:

It has to be a manual,so I dont want to start a debate about which is quicker,but I dont think I can stop that! ;)

any help, gratefully received.

It is very easy to do mate,swap gearbox,and a clutch pedal,flywheel,clutch,shafts are the same as manual fitment wise,clutch cylinder that lives near the servo,engine bay harness,and the ecu to run it.I swapped fuse box and all the wires into the engine bay but i think James got away with just changing engine bay part loom.It looks alot bit very easy and id do it again.If i had everything in front of me its doable in a weekend.

couple of cans of Fosters & i'm sure Sam'll have it done in no time ;)

i changed mine to a manual and i kept the original auto wiring loom and auto engine ECU. you only need to find 4 wires in the plug that goes on to the PNP switch that was on the auto box 2 need to be bridged to get the to get the starter to work and 2 to get the reverse lights to work.
