Help please!!!

The Mrs locked the car yesterday from the switch on the drivers door then unlocked to let her Dad back in and the front passenger wont open!!! all other's are ok just the front passenger...Nothing!!, tried the switch pack out of my v70 and still nothing.
Anyone else had this? any idea's pls lads

Does the button pop up? If not, try poking it down hard then see if it locks and unlocks with the key.

Yeah button comes up all seems to be working just not opening.

Take the fuse out, switch the ignition on, then off and put the fuse back in. Cant promise it will work but can reset the system

Sometimes some wiring in the loom of the door can become loose and cause the central locking to engage then it disconnects when the door is closed and you can open it again. If this is the case you need to use brute force I'm afraid and a screwdriver with the doo rcard off from the inside then you can force the door to unlock.

Sounds very much like the deadlock on that door has activated.
Have you still got the remote for the car and if so have you tried locking it with the remote leaving it for about 1 minute (the time it takes for the deadlocks to activate after locking) then unlock the doors with the remote again and see if that works.
