Jammed cd mechanism

My 3 cd player has a jammed mechanism (my son putting a cd in incorrectly) .
Any ideas or is a visit to my local dealer?

This happens a lot to mine as I used copied CDs which are lighter etc

It's up to you though, my local Volvo dealer wanted to charge me £50 to fix this. So I took it home pulled out the head unit, took out the two screws holding the lid on a wiggled the CD about (very carefully). Stuck the unit back in the car, punched in the security code and clicked eject and it worked.

Think I've now done this method a good dozen times :troutslap

Just need to fit my autochanger in the boot which WILL accept copied CDs
