Wiper arm not wiping! Knack splines? Easy fix???

Sitting in M&S car park meditating on the fact that my drivers side wiper has just stopped wiping and can be moved manually...what is solution? Other one works fine. Cheers in advance. Ooops here comes Mrs...must go.

the bolt the holds the wiper to the spindle will be loose. just tighten the bolt and it'll be fine. should be a 13mm.

I had the same on an ex cop car I had, if you can't tighten the nut up any more then you need a new wiper arm. As the arm is aluminium and the wiper shaft is steel if anything sticks it's the arm that knackers up, thankfully it's an easy fix.

arm nut = 8mm. If the splines are fubar'd, replacement motor. lost count of how many I've got spare. If I can help feel free to ask. Pass side EASY to change, drivers side, bit of a pain coz theres not enough clearance to remove the motor. You'll need to shift the rad pack back a bit to gain clearance.
