door speakers

Hi gents I'm looking for some new speakers for all 4 doors dose anyone know some straight replacements that will fit without having to trim the door panels thanks

best way to do it it take the door panel off and measure the speaker there, as for what speaker i would suggest the alpine type r with components, got good all round sound and decent value for money, from what i know i think they are 6" speakers but may be different in the v70 to the 850 :)

I fitted some alpine speakers that fitted staright in front doors but had to mod the rear doors as not a straight fit but not to much hassle
front were 1325 sxe and rear 1725 sxe

I know nothing I know (is that tautologically illogical?) but my R has the top of the range Premium Volvo system with the additional amp that sits behind the head unit and even with the factory speakers, sounds pretty good. I have tried a couple of other head units (Kenwood and JVC) and they were not up to the Volvo (Alpine I think) unit. I am often left wondering how to upgrade the system - because it sounds pretty good as it is.

Always on the lookout for a good audio plan though!
