Would i get any gains from fitting n/a cams to the t5 turbo with a 16t fitted

Think they have a slightly higher lift. Few people have done it, Not sure what gains you'll get though. :)

I do know the ford boys use the n/a inlet cam on the zetec turbo and get good results and there turbos arnt huge either, but im thinking it might be different on the volvo.

Its a well tried and tested route in the 850 world to do this. There are companies offering cams with up to 10mm lift for serious power cars so higher lift cams if set up properly can be used very well. The Na 20v 850 or V70 is the car to get some from. The last set I sold went for around £11 on ebay.

i had n/a cams in my v70 and i was using a bigger turbo and they worked but with a standard volvo turbo i would not bother ,i would fit a 960 tb alot more benifit .

Ive got the 20valve n/a throttle body which is huge compared to my t5 throttle body just need to open the bore up on the inlet a bit to accept it
