Your actually quite lucky yours is a solid colour joking aside as the metallic and pearlescent finishes aren't lacquered so never polish up shiney... ;)

I bet you have, cleaning these bays isn't easy and you've done a magnificent job of it too. Although I am pretty sure yours wasn't that bad last time I had a little look..




Oh and I must confess that new poly mount looks epic...

Just so you dont feel left out marty boy mmmmm lol,

OLD engine oil! belive it or not it works really well lol

And seeing as i change my oil and filter every 3k i've lots of it lol

What do you mix with it, to make creosote? as ive quite a few panels and could do wiv getting rid of the oil lol

I think it's parrafin - 50%, don't quote me on that tho lol

Aerospace 303 is one of the best products for making your engine plastics look like new, spray it on leave it for as long as you can ( 12 hours if possible) then wipe any resedue off. It takes no effort, and lots of people coment on how my engine looks like new.

If you havent got 303 and want to do it quickly i have used the poundland tyre dressing which comes in a black spray bottle. Seems to last about 2 to 3 months before dulling off. Dont use full on silicone stuff as it atracts the dirt oin the air and look awful after a week or so!!

It was clean last week and now it`s sparkling.You need to go back to work mate before you polish her to a bear metal lol.I have not seen many cars as shiny as yours.
