What is the best way to remove paint from the grey areas on 850 bumpers when they have been so called "colour coded"? cheers

Can't really think of a way of doing it that won't leave you needing new bumpers, because the plastic is 'textured' the paint will be well into the bumper, you'd be better off either roughing it up and then painting it with some grey bumper paint (which will be ugly), repaint them or replace them...Sorry

there a couple of ways, thinners is a number 1, i also use some stuff called tar n glue remover to get paint off places, also with tar and glue you dont have the problem of discolouring the plastic bumper, are you anywhere near me?

Be Very carefull what you put on them, the plastic could melt, try a small area first.

Yes buddy, the top's are all the same i've been told.

I know for a fact they clip in all the way round, like little tabs about ten i think.

its only the front bumper that splits. the rear bumper is all one piece. the door molding are only held on with one torx screw. if you open the door look on the inside edge there will be a small black rubber plug the trox screw is behind it take it out and then slide the door trim towards the back of the car and it should pull away from the door.
