cheers yes its come up really well, i prefer the driving postion of the saab, suits my gammy ankle, should get an auto really but out of the 5 various autos ive had over the years 3 had gearbox probs, [not cheap], so i wont do autos anymore, ive had a 9000 cse hpt, 2, 9-5s and the wife had a 2.0lpt 9-3 new in 2002 last of the hatch, with aero running gear, and has just blagged a mint 9-3 sportwagon aero [which is a nice drive] so im not sure if i will be keeping the volvo yet, still fancy a 9-5 aero estate, its just that this was miss advertised and a good price so i couldnt leave it there, may keep may sell, undecided, but its cleaned up really well, almost show standard
cheers hammie

Nice job, any before shots for comparison to show of your hard work ;)

Tbh I would rather have the Volvo than the SAAB especially when you consider 53,000 mile Volvo estates in that condition are NOT 2 a penny and the Volvo will be the larger of the two and better built.

no before shots, it wasnt bad, prob hadnt been polished by the previous owner for a good few years, judging buy the amount of rubbish the clay took off, interior smelt of old man and his dog [and hairs] and the engine bay i dont think had ever been cleaned, but careful use of my power washer and cleaning potions brought the engine bay back, my dyson and its various attachments got the interior sorted, it had had the large rubber mats fitted from new so the carpet underneath was spotless, i dont think anyone has ever sat in the back, theres no wear to mention on the drivers seat either, the alloys arent even scuffed!!! so just 2 days worth of elbow grease really, im torn wether to keep or not, wasnt looking for a t5, d5 would suit my needs better, but it was too good and a good price so i had to bring it home, dont really want to spoil it by putting a towbar on it and turning it into the family tow tug, its too nice lol
might punt it on ebay with a decent reserve and if it doesnt sell ill keep it

Great paint clarity. I recommend carlack special cleaner for the engine bay. Looks very smart.

I recommend also poorboys black hole as a great cleaning glaze to keep up that shine. You will need to seal it again after use.

Wow, keep it and take it to shows! looks absolutely fantastic. If you do decide to sell it, post it here first with what you would like to get for it and you'll probably get it. If not, fleabay is always gonna be there. I think it would be better appreciated by a forum member in that condition and won't be destroyed by some chav wanting a cheap rocket to ruin before they can afford a scooby.
:welcome:
