well just a quick note to say i will never refit a dump valve to my car,i had a pretty productive day yesterday,i fitted a new heater matrix,and also fitted a coil icv top hose and removed the dv and fitted a replacement top ic hose oh and relocated my boost gauge from the vent to a proper mount on the dash :)

i can honestly say the power delivery is so much smoother without the dv i dont know why i kept it so long,and the new sound from the little beasty should be censored as it is positively pornographic!!

so my advise to anyone reading this is....throw (or sell) it and just keep the standard piping:bounce:

Happy days mate. I can't stand the noise from a dv, find it too intrusive, especially the ripspeed ones you hear on starlet GTs. I'm still really enjoying the noise I get from the recirc with the cone filter fitted :) nice and discrete.

yeah thanks again niles :) ive still got a cut out/backfire under hard acceleration but its getting there atleast it drives alot smoother now

yeah its a lovely sound,like ive got a bag of rattle snakes under the bonnet :shockedbi the look on peoples faces is still keeping very entertained aswell :)

all done mate,was the first thing i changed thats why i got the coil off you just to see if there was any difference!! its not a shuddering,it kind of jolts then thats it!! ill sort it soon enough im sure,ill probably end up replacing everything but ill sort it ;)
