Any tips for removing the heat shield at the rear of the engine, looks like there's a water pipe running through it also!!

it just unbolts mate take it off and throw away lol

what about that dam bolt with the spring on it?? it just doesnt seem to ever come out!! or am i doing something wrong :(

Takes forever mate, best use a 1/4 drive ratchet or even better a ratchet spanner, eventually it will come out, the spring will be loose/untensioned. Grease it up when you put it back in, will make it easier.

cheers mate i had a little go the other night and honestly my arm felt like it was gonna drop off!! oh,i have no intention on refitting the bloody thing,should make it easier when im playing about with the actuator ;)
