Hi All
My volvo 850 t 5 2.3 turbo has starting problems ,emission lambda light was staying on so changed sensor only trouble was i cut through wiring to get deep socket on it with out removing battery terminal, i took a sensor of v 70 in breakers yard but found out it was different sensor fitted it anyway now car takes ages to start and runs poorly when started flat spot at 70 mph wondeing if damaged ECU wonder if anybody has got any suggestions

really should put the right lambda in, not sure what you've looked at, but your original fault may not have been the lambda, did you check/change air filter and sparks first, how's the rotor arm dizzy cap look? are there any leaks in the pipes from the air filter to the inlet manifold? after these disconnect the battery for 10mins and the lambda light should go out if it trips again then it time to look at the lambda, hope that helps
