To be frank, Frank, I think the wheels will look as chavvy as a soiled hoody if you spray them black. Each to their own, but this a classy, really nice looking example of a luxury car, and I think you could ruin it. The saffron makes the statement, don't over-egg the pudding. Dark anthracite at a push but not black.

its the theme of the car it has blacked out windows, a black grill, black lights indicators and side repeaters, it has black mudguards now and i have sprayed the bumper grills black too, i have got rid of all the nasty grey on the car the only thing left is the wheels and look good but can look better,if you look at the car you will see i know how to style these, so by matching the wheels to the rest of the car i think will look the mutts.

Ok boys and girls... here's Franakie's R with black wheels, I hope you don't mind, Frankie, but I simulated a satin black (cos it was easier) and although, like many, I didn't like the idea of black wheels on a saffy, the satin effect actually looks really good.
(I know I didn't get the back wheel quite right ;))

Here ya go......

If your gonna have your 19s in black, you should get some bigger brakes, they'll finish it off.

Personally, I wouldn't go full gloss but that's only my opinion. A bit glossier would be nice but would take me the rest of the night to do as the software I use isn't really suitable for that kind of thing as the original pic is a little grainy:)

my brakes look good mate

Think 302 size brakes will look a bit lost on black 19s.

Big discs with porsche caliper will look good.

I need to get a new rear bumper, not happy at all with the paint, volvo have had a go at it and so did another body shop, It would have worked out cheaper buying a brand new one from the start.

Ermmm I think 89k think i've done less than 10k in it, had it for about 7 years.
Just had my garage rewired, so have new power points and lights for polishing, once its all done then my car will be coming to live with me again lol. Will hopefully get the chance to do bits and bobs to it again.

Possibly the slowest engine change in history? lol
