If the V70 is P1 then you gotta good chance, if it's P2 then you got more chance of growing a clitoris!

Im sure Emlyn fitted a set of phase 1 70 series clocks to his 850, they weren't R clocks but apart from being grey faced and not blue identical in operation and connections. Obviously the mileage of the previous car will be what is displayed when you plug them in but it will increase as you drive yours.

So your up for loosing your standard fit boost gauge? If your not doing anything with your original clocks I'd like to look into calibrating a standard gauge and would be grateful if I could borrow your original set to test, you can have them back intact when I am done.

Have you still not fitted one yet! How can you have the cheek to claim your car is fastest without one? ;)

As long as they are NOT ME7 clocks u should be ok, not too sure about the digital parts working tho as this is done thro the later ECUs

Good point, don't the obd1 cars come with a speed sensor on the gearbox and the later one's calculate speed via the abs wheel speed sensors?
