air con relay

ok, i give in. does anyone know where the relay for the air con is? i'm buying a haynes next week when im in town but i dont want to wait :pants: my air con packed in and i thought the logical place to start was the lecky side.

Should be behind the glovebox. There are also other relays next to the plenum chamber with the fuses under the bonnet and some under the drivers side of the dash under the removable lower trim.
What actually happended when it stopped working, was it sudden?

its working again???? went out to the folks for the evening and it was blasting cold air for all its worth?? need to investigate further tomorrow. any thoughts?
