Damaged bore

As some of you no im rebuilding the volvo and upgrading the rods n other bits i stripped my block right down to be re honed and dipped (cleaned) i took the crank out and noticed digs in the metal around the bore. Im hoping this can be ground off without re sleeving so im taking down the engineer tomorow and findout the news.

Slight burr inside

Unless going oversize aftermarket pistons you will struggle to get original oversize pistons so re-boring will be pointless if you are using a 850 T5 block. Sourcing another engine will be an easier option.
