My tailgate wiper has stated to move slowly and doesn"t seem to park in the right position.
Anyone on here know of any possible causes?
Thanks in advance
Richard

the metal grommet reacts with the spindle & seizes over time, just need to strip it out & clean everything up

The seals tend to go on the wipers, water then gets in and corrodes the aluminium bracket that the wiper shaft runs through, this binds the wiper up and makes it hard for it to operate. It's either a strip down clean up and grease or a replace the whole assembly with a second hand one.

Hope this helps

The wiper spindle connecting the Linkage to the arm through the glass is needing greased! take the wiper off and spray wd40 or similar over the spindle while it's switched on and see if that helps? they can become very clogged up and need the motor assembly stripped off and lubed up..
Either that or your wiper motor's on the way out!
