Need to order this, i hit a speed bump last night, causing this bracket to push my exhaust up against my prop shaft!!!!!!! Had to call the AA out. I'm calling the council to complain look at the speed bump!!!

I looked at my dads S60R and the bracket doesnt sit as low

Up to you but on the standard exhaust I'd be tempted to leave it off

Word of advice.

Go back to the speed bump and photograph a measurement of the height of the bump to the bottom of that hole. Council insurance will usually pay up, especially with the road looking as bad as that. It's a disgrace..!

Best of luck. SteveRuss

That looks like a nasty piece of road... I'd be unimpressed if it had caused damage to my car, I am surprised nobody has reported it to Clarence? yet..

Mine just pigging well caught on the top of my sloped drive. Googled it and found this - http://volvospeed.com/volvo_repairs_how_tos/transmissions_driveshafts/awd_s60r_v70r_exhaust_bracket.html

Hope the council don't try and reverse this on you, and fine you for damaging the speed bump!!

Removed mine last night at 9pm in the dark/fog on the drive. Neighbours probably think I'm a bit potty :o
There is lots written about this poxy bracket especially on swedespeed in the States apparently it can cause thousands in damage to the prop shaft - google "exhaust bracket of death", it doesn't support the exhaust and is apparently just a part that is left on from the production line. I took mine off without jacks and replaced with a pair of large stainless washers.

That speed hump is shocking, judging by the erosion either side of it and the scars on top it's done damage to myriad cars. Sue the ****ing Council!
