View Full Version : Turbo Now fitted with me7

Have finished and set up my 15g turbo, and also fitted my me7 manifold.

Have definatly come to the conclusion a 15g turbo cant hold boost 19psi of boost @ 4,600 rpm.

Have definatly not got a Boost leak anywhere. still boosts and holds 19/20psi fine in 3,4,5 until 4,600 rpm then the boost drops to 16 psi.

took around 1 hour to fit and run the turbo.

Now going to be saving my penny's for a larger turbo just dont what one to go for.

Big thanks again to claymore for his exhaust housing as this has definatly improved the Boost.

do you reckon the ME7 made any difference? 19t with 960 throttle body is what you want ;)

Feel a stronger pull low down, and feels very progessive But that could also be down to a Better exhaust housing also.

isnt there a problem running too much boost low down? regards rods. I will be fitting an me7 t5 16t turbo to mine at some point, ive got the angled exhaust flange not sure if its 2.5 or 3 inch diamter exit though, have to get the vernier out

Is drop off at high RPM not associated with a weak actuator?
I have this problem in another non Volvo car just now too.

I have this problem in another non Volvo car just now too.

Cant see my actuator being weak, i hav adjusted and it feels quite good. i think the Turbo is just max out above 4.5k 19psi,

she can hold 1 bar all day long.

also, don't forget the weather is very hot today, having said that I think your getting about as much as the 15g can give
