Seller claims 300 bhp, so I asked him why he thought it was 300 bhp, he replied;

"It has been blue mapped and when the new cam belt was fitted the front was advanced by 2 cogs and the back retarded by 2 cogs and a specialist exhaust which give it 300 bhp or as near as"

I build race cars (not Volvo....yet) sounds optimistic, Adam?

I've heard of this before. You can shift the cambelt slightly to get more power near the top of the rev range (about 10bhp), but at the expense of power lower down...

Vernier pulleys are commonly used to optimize cam timing, but not to that degree!

reckon he means 'blueprinted' as in built to exact specification with out allowing for engineering tolerances.
