I am trying to clean a cream coloured load cover - just getting off the muck of 15 years - I remember a product called Decosol from years back, but what is a good modern vinyl and plastic cleaner?

You could try this.

http://www.nielsencdg.co.uk/acatalog/Car_Instant_Valay_Foam_Upholstery_Cleaner_500ml.ht ml

or

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Car-Interior-Cleaner-500Ml-Xtra/dp/B004PZQNU2/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1316094873&sr=8-16
