everytime i go into the parts shop i ask about power steering fluid & they always ask what grade i want, its not proper power steering fluid but ATF which i've heard can be used anyway. I haven't got a clue about the grading & when i tell them its a 5hitroen pump with Volvo rack even they haven't got a clue. Normally i'd buy any but because they've got to order it to get me enough anyway might as well get the better one

so what do i want? lol. Many thanks Duane

i used ATF on my old car, had it weeping all over the place a few days later, it was coming out of the ineer track rod seals. Wont use that again. I have used slick 50 power steering fluid and happy days. done.

looks like i'm going to have to pay full retail price then because my supplier doesn't stock any actual power steering fluid, they just sell on ATF :(

Dexron 2 and 3 is ATF fluid. A majority of pas systems uses it.
