We are fitting another T5 engine in another Autograss special but we are having trouble getting a spark, does anybody know if the immobiliser is within the ECU and if so if there is an easy way to bypass it ?

The ECU part number is Bosch 0 261 203 851.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Yes, 851 ECU does have immobiliser, although it can be disabled.

Thanks for that info, what is involved in disabling it ?

The software in the ECU needs to be altered to make it ignore the immobiliser.

Or you can get a 074 ECU from the breakers ... :-D
