How low and how wide?

How low can i drop my 98 S40 T4, and in turn whats the widest 17" tyre that can be fitted?

And also, where do i get a plain no badged front grill?

I have mine lowered approx 100mm on coilovers, Don't think you can go much lower than that!!

Front and rear clearance is approx 10mm from the arch.

I'm not sure on tyre sizes for 17's but mine is running 205/45/16's with no rubbing issues at all (however I do have 3mm spacers front, and 10mm hubcentric spacers on the rear)

What style grill are you after? I have a debadged replica egg crate grill I am looking to get rid of (was sprayed grey, but is black plastic underneath)

215 section is generally as wide as you can go (215/40/17 is common) and what I run.
