My fuel cut is a constant 15psi on my 1995 850 t5 I can hit 15 psi and back off the juice and I won't cut but if u keep given it the Beens it will cut so, ive got backed off the mbc so i can put me foot to thefloor in 5th and it boosts a good 14 psi so I know it won't cut, especially as the nights all gettin cooler and the turbo cars run better... Prob no help to u as it's a diff car but if it dose help happydays

19psi or 1.3bar. Presume you have a boost gauge to verify it? And start with the MBC as low as it will go and slowly wind it in until you reach the desired value. Don't give in to temptation and go higher.... You can achieve the same simply by shortneing the wastegate actuator rod - costs nothing.

Yeh be carefully on the waistgate adjustment it's very agressive but defo worth doing, 1 / 1 1/2 turns back max and defo turn mbc back. I went back 21/2 turns and backed off mbc and on the 1st run relised I'd done the wrong thing as is boosted up so quick and hard hit fuelcut straight off, so take care I had to wait over an hour for it to cooldown enough to turn back actuator to 1 1/2 turns so don't do what I done, little adjustments at a time safer for the car aswell hope this helps
Obveuslly all cars are different so just. Guide for ya

you'll know that was the maximum boost :D

(I know... not helpful at all... but I can never resist on boost threads!)

unless you get a remaped ecu you can only run about 14 psi before fuel cut

Don't think that's correct. I have std ecu in current T4 until it is mapped, and had same in previous T4 and you can run 19psi with no fuel cut. The T4 runs 13psi as standard (1855cc version), unless I am mistaken

Now that makes more sense!

So 14 psi then.

So 14 psi then.

no mate i thought you had a t5 not a t4, they run higher boost as standard

So what boost can I run on the T4 with standard ecu and afm?
