Outside temp fault

Ok, any ideas on this problem, on my dash the computer outside temp seems faulty instead of a figure eg. 14oC my dash reads LO would this be a sensor fault or is the car telling me something else, had the codes read today and nothing came up.... Knowledge is power and i have neither. Cheers in advance

At a guess id say sensor faulty as everything else has a warniing light,
