just wondering whats the best cam configuration to get power out of turbo engines, is a higher lift or longer duration more beneficial we want

Higher lift afaik; long duration cams work well in n/a cars (with other appropriate mods) mate.

If it's any help, a 270- 285 degree duration would be fast road to road/ race in an n/a car and 300+ degree duration would be an all out race/rally cam with an exceptionally lumpy idle and power band above 3-4k rpm- I know because I've had them all in various n/a cars in the past. Hope this helps a bit even if it's not for turbo'd cars!

These are the specs on piper cams for the T5's, I have these in my car, but no idea what they are like :)

as you can see, the Pipers have a higher lift but the NA's have a longer duration so not sure which to go for

NA
Intake:250dr duration 0.332 inch lift
Exhaust:252,6dr duration 0.332 inch lift

T5
Intake:242dr duration 0.312 inch lift
Exhaust:243,5dr duration 0.312 inch lift

Piper
Intake:248dr duration 0.348 inch lift
Exhaust:248dr duration 0.310 inch lift

you dont need a highlift cam in a turbo about 10 to 11mm lift and 250 to 260 max duration ,i had n/a cams in my v70 and worked well with the t35 hybrid

Try speaking to Russ at RT, I know he had NA cams at first but I think he's running something completley different now.

Yup, Russ's cams are nearly to his own spec, he was using the pipers at one point.

May be worth a phone call/pm to find out what's your best option.

Don't forget, these will help you get the best out of your chosen camshaft.
