auto gearbox oil

I carnt seem to find a deffinate answer as to what auto gear box oil to use dextron III keeps coming up does any one know for sure what to use.
Its a 1998 volvo c70 t5

When I checked with my local Volvo dealer Dextron III was listed as the prefered auto oil for the boxes in 70 series T5's/R's I'd have thought it was the same for all the autoboxes.... The reason you can't get a definative answer is Volvo list the oil as a part number rather than a spec, or so I am led to believe anyway.
