Well its official..the volvo is dead :(

New rad and cooler fitted with new clips
Gave it a test run,the cooler pipe came off,dumped all its oil out and siezed the engine :(

More annoying is when the bloke who i bought the rad off dont answer his phone or reply to texts because it was faulty :( The cooler pipe wouldnt sit in its housing properly bceause it was corroded and didnt notice til the rad was in place in the car. Managed to wire brush the corrosion but just wasnt good enough :(

I'm sorry to hear that, I'm even more surprised the engine siezed up so quickly, I did this to mine, dumped all its oil in a couple of seconds. the car is still fine two years later.

speak to jamest5r he might have a block for you then just bolt your head on and throw new lump back in hey presto car back on the road and happy days and fairly cheap repair .this is my opinion anyway .
