Fuel gauge broken

Hi all,

I have recently picked up a s60 d5 and the fuel gauge is not working, I have checked the connections by the senders, does anyone know a way to test the senders?

I have looked around for other issues pointing to the rem but everything else works, does anyone have any ideas and is there a way to check the instrument panel?

could be a dash issue,they have issues,
to test the sender unit,
put an ohm meter across the wires then slowly lift the float,the signal will change if its working,

cool, thanks for that, having a closer look at the sender there was two pins that should contact the board but didn't,pushed them back and all is good! cheers
