hi all prob bit of a stupid question but iam thinking of lowering my car 40mm but think im going to have issues with the front spoiler grounding on every thing would it help if i was to fit 18s to give it that bit more height before being lowerd and will it give it that wheel tight in the arch look or am i barking up the wrong tree lol

this is 17" with Eibach lowering springs 35-40mm lower than standard

You shouldnt have any problem Lowering your Car 40mm, ive fitted 40mm drop killen springs and run 17" Wheels and havent had a Problem.

I did have to get rid of the Nivo rear shocks and Mounts though.

normally if you go up a size in wheel, then you go lower on the tyre profile so the rolling diameter isn't affected. Which mean you won't gain any ride height

205 50 16 now 40mm drop with 215 40 17
