Depends how deep the scratches are, if it's only minor surface then you can usually buff them out with some G3 or a similar cutting compound, if they're deeper you may need to touch in the clear coat first before sanding back and then buffing up again. Can you feel the scratches with a nail?.

In which case any type of cutting compound will work fine.

There's a kit called Kratzer-EX, it costs £4.99, and comes from Aldi. it has some little sheets of 3000gr wet and dry (just spit on the scratch and rub it with the w/d paper till it disappears, a coarse cutting compound rub in hard after sanding and a fine cutting compound for final buffing. the kit also comes with a polishing wedge and a few lint-free cloths.
Hope this helps.

Scratch remover paste will work but you need to rub hard and then go over it again gently to remove the dullness caused by the cutting. :)
