Hi guys

Thanks

Carlube ATF-U, Comma ASW, to spec JWS3309.

Emphatically NOT Dexron of any description.

Don't use the wrong fluid. It will cost you ££££££'s

Big thanks torslanda.....used the Comma one which the mechanic said smelt different to the norm. Used 14 litres at just over £14 ltr.

The old fluid was as black as yer hat and as the car has now done 116 k and I bought it at 85k I would assume it has not had a flush.

Wow...what a difference it has made. Silky smooth changes and it used to seem to come out of gear when sitting in traffic and go back in when the revs rise....cured that one !

Will def do once a year now which will be in 20k time.

Paid £ 312 inc vat including fully syn oil/filter change which I thought wasn't bad

Even the later classic cars used the synthetic GB oil, my classic p2 V70R awd 4sp adaptive used dex III luckily for me.

Wow - £312 a year to flush a slusher! New clutch every 8 years at £700 looks a bargain!
