Could anybody please tell me what the torque settings for big ends.
Also anybody used or can you even get acl race bearings from anywhere?
I've been advised to just replace the big ends rather than changing bottom end
that way I keep the uprated rods in there and its. afew hours work instead of a couple
of days.
any help much appreciated
cheers

Sure you can replace the little ends with just the sump off but the big ends..??, wouldn't that be a crank out job?.

yeah m8 , with the big end shell fail the rod and crank might be damaged (ie scored) slight marks on both crank and rod , if the crank is scored you will need a grind and a set of over sized shells

ya need to take the crank out for the mains m8, big ends are for the con rods m8
little ends are piston to rods
