Hi all, I am busy with a project car wich will be fitted with a 1997 V70 T5 motor which is in the V70 at the mo. Is there anybody out there who can tell me or better still has some documentation on the loom of the V70 and what can be chopped off and binned. As the project car is from the 80's I want to use the engines own ECU but only enough of the loom so the motor will run.

Tim.

As far as i know mate you just need to use the engine bay loom and ecu from the t5 to your new car if both cars are the same

Ask Paul Hassell for the info I sent over to him (links to good ecu info) as I don't have it on the computer I'm using at the moment.

I still have the link that Alan helpfully sent me a while ago, I will PM the link over to you in a few minutes.

The link below is the one Alan sent me back in April which helped me out with wiring up my T5 engine, I was fitting an Emerald management system to mine but I needed to check pin connectors to sendors etc.

Thought I would post it instead of PM'ing in case anybody else needs it.
