cars bin in the garage for 9 days trying to trace my no start prob, after trying cam belt sensor, plugs, alternator, battery, leads, and every frigging thing else the mechanic says "we think its ya ecu for definate as we cant get any readings from the diagnostic reader"
help is def needed, they reckon they r gonna send it to `northumberland' to get it tested and reprogged.
firstly is this a good idea, second can they be reprogrogged, third would ibe better off wiv a new one, forth could i fitted an upgraded ecu in now rather than get it fitted (tested, reprogged) then upgrading it.
if i need a new one does anyone know the cheapest place, if i cant get a new one does anyone have one that i can buy now.
i am going stir crazy as her indoors wont lend me her car coz she needs it for work!

cheeers matey, called volvotuning, they said they didnt carry any stock, but said i would have to try the breakers for one if it cant be reprogged. gonna give salvo acall monday just in case.
