Probably a good turbo, the benefits of a T4 without the lag, are you sure you need a turbo spec'd to run up to 27 psi for what your doing though?

Nothing wrong with Japanese turbo's. That China one wont be the best though. Get a brand turbo or a well built china turbo. A lot of turbo parts come from China now though the assembly in China can not quite be up to the same spec as large manufacturers. This is a well built T3 China turbo which I know works as a friend runs one in a Pulsar with good results. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-SKYLINE-R33-RB25DET-T3-430BHP-TURBO-TURBOCHARGER-/120702855183?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c1a73680f

Very true, but a turbo that flows well at 27 psi might not be all that good for applications requiring 15-20 psi. Bigger is definately not always better on this occassion and at those pressures a 19T would probably do the job just fine.
I guess it really depends on how long you think it will take to get it to a standard where that turbo, or similar, will come into it's own. You will easily have had to fit different rods and probably consider rebuilding the whole engine to get it to reliably cope with those pressures regularly. I'd even be thinking about a decent suspension set up and diff to get your added power effectively on the road...

Hi Guys,

Very interested in this turbo if it's good quality. I might add this to my wish list for the build I'm about to embark on.

What work would this turbo need to fit onto our T5's? I know it says good for 430bhp on a Skyline but would this support my goal of 350+ for my T5?

Thanks, Mitch.

try a 19y powered car 1st , the faster than ya think , 13.5 sec quarters are capable with full trim , if thats not enough try a k24 then a look into a td05 or gt28/30r but ya NEED lots of other suportin mods 1st

18T's often to see to do just as well as the 19T's on the strip due to less lag and more mid-range.

Get an 18T bolt on, remap and spend the rest on the suspension IMHO :)

It'll still go like this dude's ride:
